My First Recording!

This is just a quick little thing I whipped up on the spot to try out a makeshift recording set-up that I created. I started by recording a guitar track, then I impulsively soloed over it on the spot to see how well tracks mix together. It was unpracticed and created on the spot so some parts aren't great, but it was fun and I'm excited to try and record something more full with the help of some of my musician friends. Enjoy!

'AGORA' Student Perspective Conference

Dear readers,

On March 18, 2011 I will be reading an excerpt from my novel titled, 'A Step over the Edge' at the Students Perspective Conference, 'Agora' at Red Deer College. If you live near or are planning to visit Red Deer, Alberta, Canada near this time you should come to the event and support the presentations that will be given. My reading will be fifteen minutes long, my very first public speaking experience, and it will be my first opportunity to present a section of my book to the public. The participants will be published in a College based journal of short stories and essays, so if you can't make it, try to check it out if you are interested.
